The Year of Zayed Wristwatch

Description

A collaboration with luxury watch brand Chronoseven and a select of top watchmakers and jewelers, this special wristwatch was made in Germany with a swiss mechanical movement. This timepiece was launched in 2018 to celebrate the centennial anniversary of the birth of His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founder and first President of the UAE.

The dial and back were designed entirely from scratch to feature a portrait of the Sheikh Zayed placed at the location of the digit 7 which is a symbol of the number of the Emirates. the word Emirates was written in stylish Arabic calligraphy over a background of floral and organic elements derived from the Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi decoration style.
